Cancer Control Mission (CCM) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping needy children. Cancer Control Mission is registered under the Read more Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. Reg. No F-40856/Mumbai/2009. All donations to Cancer Control Mission are exempted from tax under section 80-G of the Income Tax Act. The mission is a comprehensive effort focused on achieving national impact and reach. This involves various key objectives: • Spreading this message at a national level. • Supporting the education of children affected by the loss of a cancer patient. • Providing counselling services. • Alleviating the suffering caused by cancer. • Improving the quality of life for both patients and their families. • Lowering mortality rates by advocating for early detection and treatment. • Organizing cancer awareness programs in schools across India to control the disease. • Gathering resources through voluntary donations for cancer awareness programs. These programs encompass tobacco control, promoting healthy dietary habits, encouraging beneficial lifestyle practices, and addressing pollution control to prevent non-communicable diseases. • Offering financial aid to needy cancer patients for palliative care and conducting workshops focused on enhanced cancer pain management, including advocating for the availability and use of morphine in government hospitals. • Providing financial support to other organizations aligned with our objectives. • Engaging in research initiatives related to awareness.

  • BASKET project

    Amid the restrictions imposed to curb the spread of the Coronavirus, numerous daily wage earners were deprived of their means of livelihood, leaving their families in distress and struggling to combat hunger. The BASKET initiative aims to provide fresh groceries to these vulnerable families in dire need. The dedicated team at CCM is actively engaged in providing essential supplies and raising awareness about COVID-19, empowering people with knowledge to combat the virus. The team also fosters cleanliness practices, emphasizing habits such as regular handwashing, wearing masks, and maintaining social distance, crucial to staying healthy and preventing the spread of COVID-19.

  • Education support

    Providing educational support to economically underprivileged children is a crucial step toward fostering a more equitable society. The organisation raises funds to offer scholarships and facilitates access to educational resources to bridge the educational gap. These initiatives not only enhance their learning experiences but also instil confidence and ambition, allowing these children to realize their full potential.
