Right from our humble be Read moreginnings in 1998 to this day CHORD has successfully rescued and empowered with education, counseling, and care, over 16300 underprivileged children, trained over 6300 young men and women in employable Skills and has touched lives of tens of thousands through its awareness and sensitization workshops. Our imperative to empower with education and training, the lives and plight of the underprivileged continues, with help from volunteers, students, professionals, and socially conscious citizens and together we hope that the contribution to our less fortunate friends keeps growing as we do. Goal: To make the target area child labour free by 2024 by rescuing, educating and empowering 7000 working or school drop-out children and train 7000 young men and women in skills through child centric community development initiatives.   • Building Bridges - Bridge or Remedial Schools

    Offers a rigorous education to prepare working or dropout children for mainstream school integration.
    It is a type of education that lies between formal and non-formal learning environments.
    It is a community-based school that uses a rigorous curriculum, healthy food, and medical facilities to help students who were either child labourers or dropouts make up lost time in school.
    Since its founding, CHORD has saved, educated, and reintegrated over 16,000 children into the regular educational system by using Remedial Schooling as a powerful tactic.

  • Child Rights Advocacy

    advocates for and sensitizes important partners at the Mandal and colony levels of the network offices; this is done to train the administration and personnel of remedial schools in sensitization.

    Encourages communication and the sharing of experiences between the CHORD Project units.
    Integrating concerns about child labour and education into all training initiatives, including initiatives for personality development, joint education, leadership development, etc.
    Carries out education campaigns on child labour and child rights problems for the parents of child labourers.
    Carries out programs to raise awareness among teachers in private schools and local government.
    CHORD employees receive training on project management, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks.
    Gender concerns, discussions about gender equality, and stakeholder participation
