Thank you so much! We have crossed our initial goal of raising 20 lakh rupees to help migrant workers in need across India. However, we are still accepting contributions - the additional funds raised will only be used to further the relief efforts, and help more families in crisis.
The more contributions we get - the more migrant workers in need can be helped.
We have therefore raised the goal to 25 lakh rupees, and will be welcoming all contributions till the last day of this crowdfunding campaign, which is the 10th of September.
India's migrant crisis may no longer be on the news, but it is far from over. Here's how your contribution can make a difference.
- ₹ 4,000 will support two families of 4 with one month's worth of ration supplies
- ₹ 20,000 will support 10 families with a month's worth of ration, or help provide debt relief to affected members from the local community, preventing them from being engulfed into a vicious cycle of bonded labor.
About the campaign:
A collective of reputed NGOs is working relentlessly on the ground to assist our migrant workers and their families. Helmed by the Indian Leadership Forum Against Trafficking (ILFAT) and Tafteesh, in collaboration with HELP, we are conducting relief operations across the country. The campaign is being led by survivors of human trafficking. Having survived the scourge of trafficking, they are now working to effect positive change in their communities.
Now, we need YOUR HELP – to continue and expand our relief work.

What will your contribution be utilised for?
- Providing monetary support for rations and supplies to workers and families left without cash and any source of income.
- Providing debt burden relief for low-income workers – to help pay off loans accumulated during this crisis, and prevent them from falling into exploitative debt traps set by moneylenders.
- Providing monetary support to address healthcare needs (both mental as well as physical health) of families coping with the fallout of the ongoing crisis.
