Sense India supports children and adults with deafblindness and multiple disabilities and their families. Children and adults with deafblindness and multiple disabilities that Sense India works with are from extremely poor families and are highly vulnerable in this pandemic due to malnourishment.
In this lockdown families with members with deafblindness and multiple disabilities are finding it hard to make ends meet with their meager savings and lost incomes. Sense India intends to support these families by distributing Ration Kits.
The Kits that we will provide will have items of daily hygiene and nutritional needs to keep them healthy and safe in this pandemic. Each kit will have supplies to last a month and costs Rs. 1,500.
The description of items included in each kit is as given in the following table.
