Campaign by GiveIndia
Lawyers, Artists and Others Talking Law, Love and Equity is a tri weekly series of live streamed episodes with a small art performance preceding a semi-formal conversation with legal and citizen luminaries and artists on specific themes of timeless knowledge of civic importance.
These sessions will also be fundraisers for three significant causes: social security for migrant workers, food security for urban poor and protective gear for care givers from every section of society.
Ep 0 features Dr. Aditya Sondhi speaking about why we are doing the exercise and the richness of life and collective living and evolution.
Why law love and equity?
Brother Cornel West says "Justice is what Love looks like in public, just as tenderness is what Love feels like in private". The law is everyone's business and it is our duty to shed light on its operation. And art is what makes life meaningful. Some of the most pressing issues of justice of our time need for us to organize ourselves independently of governmental action, and empathy and self-governance is our responsibility. As is love.
