Baby Suvathammal, aged 1 year, has a critical congenital heart condition that requires immediate care. Her condition continues to deteriorate - surgery is her only option! She comes from a very poor family near Chennai. Suvathammal’s father is a Corporation cleaning labourer, her mother is a housewife, and she has 2 siblings, 5 and 6 years old. 

Doctors at MIOT center for children’s cardiac care in Chennai diagnosed her condition and advised that she requires heart surgery. It is a sensitive case, but the doctors are sure that she can get better with immediate care! The surgery, medicines and hospital costs will amount to Rs.2,40,000/-
