Many of these girls lack access to basic necessities, education, and protection, leaving them exposed to various risks and vulnerabilities. Our project aims to address this issue by providing a permanent and loving home for orphan girls, offering them the care, education, and support they need to thrive and become self-reliant individuals. Project Goals and ObjectivesTo acquire a suitable building in Puducherry that will serve as a secure and permanent residence for orphan girls.To create a supportive and caring environment that ensures the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of the girls.To provide high-quality education and skill development opportunities to help the girls reach their full potential.To offer comprehensive healthcare services and regular medical check-ups to ensure their well-being.To promote emotional healing, confidence, and self-esteem through counseling and recreational activities.To foster a sense of belonging, family, and community among the orphan girls. Project Activities a. Building Selection and Acquisition: At present, the children are living in a rented building. The landlord who lives in France wanted to sell the place. He prefers to sell to us as the children are living there for 4 years. Conducted a thorough assessment of potential buildings based on safety, accessibility, and amenities. It is found to be an excellent building. b, Building Renovation and Upgrades: It is ensured that the selected building meets safety standards and is conducive to creating a nurturing environment. Little renovation and upgradation of the building to include bedrooms, living spaces, a study area, recreational facilities, and other necessary amenities. c. Staff Recruitment and Training: Employed a compassionate and skilled team, including caregivers, teachers, counselors, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff, to provide comprehensive support to the girls. d. Educational and Skill Development Programs: Partnered with local educational institutions to provide the girls with quality education, and establish vocational training programs to equip them with essential skills for future employment and self-sustainability. e. Healthcare Services: Collaborated with local healthcare providers to offer regular medical check-ups, vaccinations, and access to medical care as needed. A regular visit of a Doctor and a Staff Nurse is provided. f. Psychosocial Support: Arranged counseling and mentoring programs to help the girls heal from past traumas, build resilience, and develop a positive outlook on life. g. Recreational and Cultural Activities: We organize recreational and extracurricular activities to promote physical fitness, artistic expression, and team building. Budget and Funding: The project’s estimated budget for building acquisition, renovation, staffing, education, healthcare, and other operational expenses amounts to $200,000 (1.6 Crores). This includes registration and renovation work of the building. We are seeking funding through various channels, including Fundraising events and campaigns, corporate sponsorships, and donations, Grants from national and international philanthropic organizations, and Contributions from compassionate individuals and community members. An advance of $ 60,000 was made as advance and the last date of settlement is 15th August 2023. Otherwise, we will be forced to vacate the building. Monitoring and Evaluation: We will be implementing a rigorous monitoring and evaluation system to assess the project's progress and impact. Regular reports will be generated to track the girls' development, educational achievements, health status, and emotional well-being. Sustainability: To ensure the project's long-term sustainability, we will explore income-generating opportunities, such as establishing a social enterprise or seeking partnerships with local businesses. We will also actively engage with the community and government agencies to garner support and resources. Conclusion: By providing orphan girls in Puducherry with a loving and secure home, access to quality education, and comprehensive support services, this project will positively transform their lives, empowering them to become confident, educated, and independent individuals. The girls in poverty- stricken parts of India are easy prey for sex traffickers. They are sold into domestic slavery, are victims of sexual predators, suffer frequent physical assaults, malnutrition, frequent illnesses, are prone to infectious disease, have no access to education, are subjected to early pregnancy/marriage and have no escape from the cycle of poverty. Many of the girl children are subjected to the above-said issues. The girl children are not treated as equals. Keeping this in mind, Prime Trust took an initiative to support those girls who are in danger and whose families are unable to raise them. 
 Prime Trust started the Janani Home for Girls on 1st October 2013 and started admitting girl children. This home supports the children with nutritious food, safe accommodation, quality education, health care and vocational training skills. The home has a house mother who takes care of the children and their all round development. The home is well-staffed with a cook, a driver, a security personnel and an accountant. 
 The home provides the children an opportunity for overall development. The home guides the children for their well being, showing them the right way. The children are provided with complete care and protection.

For example, factors such as unemployment and alcoholism within the family, single parenthood, neglect and abandonment force children to become laborers either during or after school. Illiterate parents can't assist in doing homework, worsening children's disinterest in education. Additionally, limited educational resources, poor infrastructure leave these children behind. 
 Challenge - Children born into poverty are affected by a variety of societal challenges that prevents them from achieving their goals. For example, factors such as unemployment and alcoholism within the family, single parenthood, neglect and abandonment force children to become laborers either during or after school. Illiterate parents can't assist in doing homework, worsening children's disinterest in education. Additionally, limited educational resources, poor infrastructure leave these children behind.Solution - Evening school educates through remedial classes and experiential learning. We will also frequently conduct awareness programs related to physical, psychological and social issues faced by children. We will also provide counseling services during these hours. We will also teach them their rights and how to access them. The evening school will provide children with a structured after school environment; helping them spend time in a productive way towards their education. 
 The main goal is to empower and reenergize the children to pursue their dreams. The awareness programs and counseling services will address the childrens' needs holistically. We hope that awareness about oneself and society will help these children to develop a strong personal identity paired with coping and life skills. In addition, we hope that the children take these lessons into their adulthood.

Help to support Remedial Schools

Puducherry has experienced 36.2 mm of rainfall in the month of November 2021 causing huge damage on houses and people living in low lying area were evacuated and accommodated in disaster relief shelters. Still efforts are made to clear water. The Meteorological Department forecast heavy rainfall in upcoming days.The low pressure area over the southeast Bay of Bengal has resulted in rains over parts of Puduchery since 17th Wednesday, 2021. Since, Puducherry is a low-lying area and houses are surrounded by stagnated water. People are unable to move out to buy their essential needs. Most of the houses near the river bank got engulfed by the flood. Prime Trust is trying to help and support the community with immediate needs. 
 At this moment, we can support the community in providing essential needs such as food, water, grocery, candle, soap, bed sheets, rain coats etc., The children could be given school supplies. 
 We will be taking up this issue with the government and pressuring them to provide good drainage system so that we can save people from this disaster.

Support people of Puducherry during heavy floods

We make an appeal to help our children to get a new house which provides all required facilities stipulated by the Government of Puducherry. We have been living in rented buildings and face the hardship of rent every year. Huge payment of rent, takes away our limited resources which we use for the maintenance of the building and helping the children live, study and prosper. By shifting the place often, we need to make arrangements for the school, transportation, and change address in records. Hence, we make an appeal to you to help us buy the house where our kids are currently residing! 
 By raising support from our donors, we can move our children to our own building with all the necessary amenities. This will resolve most of our financial issues and can improve our financial stability. The children will feel that this place is their own house. Money could be invested in our own building to improve the needs of the children. There is no need to pay monthly rent and can work comfortably on our monthly budget. The communication issue will be resolved.  
 This will enable us to buy the new house and give a stable home to the kids, ultimately boosting the morale of the kids.
