Team Srijan Ka Sankalp delivered and installed Oxygen Concentrators in government hospitals and Covid care centers in several tier-2 and tier-3 cities around UP. The selfless volunteers covered a huge area and served hospitals in Lucknow, Sitapur, Orai, Jalaun, Ghatampur, Bahraich, and Bareilly. If you think you haven’t heard the names of some of those cities, it tells you that our effort is now influencing the rural hinterland of North India where supplies and media attention barely reach. The doctors and hospital in-charges have expressed their gratitude to our campaign, but our biggest achievement was to see our OCs get into use immediately and patients getting treated. Never before India in its recent history has seen resurgence of support from NGOs, Corporates and Individuals to all those who were affected directly or indirectly by COVID-19 pandemic last year. #SrijanKaSankalp too with its available resources and with the support and help from philanthropic people reached out to the poor people, #healthcare workers, truck drivers in the countryside and helped them in all possible ways not only to sustain their livelihood but also to protect them from Covid pandemic. It has been truly a lifetime experience for us. Our volunteers' overwhelming enthusiasm to reach out to the people rendered jobless because of the prolonged #lockdown in the country has been an amazing experience for all of us. I am happy to share with you all that our Srijan volunteers Without thinking about the risks associated with the pandemic, in the first six months since the outbreak of pandemic and subsequent lockdown reached out to more than 50,000 people in the States of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh and Haryana providing them with the ration to eke out their living and also the safety kits against Covid pandemic. We are privileged to inform you all that Srijan Ka Sankalp's prime focus has been to play a key role in making the poor children of rural Bharat "shikshit" (educated), skilled and healthy through our `saksham bharat', `nipur bharat' and `swasth bharat' flagship campaigns. In the past two years we have adopted over two dozen villages in Bundelkhand region, primarily to educate village children through smart classes and making available other academic tools at their disposal. Our NGO in association with our sister concern `Quest for education' has also been imparting free of cost coachings to poor and talented students in the rural areas and we are happy to inform you that many of our students have made through various national level competitive examinations. Recently we kick started `Shiksha Ki Gaadi' drive to provide education and impart teachings to the poor students, children of villages who cannot afford to go for online education in absence of internet connectivity, computers, mobile phones and laptops. The `shiksha ki gaadi' equipped with smart tv and other academic tools chugs from one village to another village to provide education to poor kids in their villages in the vicinity of their homes. After a tremendous response to our first shiksha ki gaadi, we have recently launched another shiksha ki gaadi.  With classroom education continuing to remain elusive for the majority of students in the country, we also launched an online learning platform - isaksham (https://isaksham.org/) through which students from any part of the country are being tutored on different subjects, topics in various streams by our qualified faculties. isaksham (https://isaksham.org/) is a free of cost online education portal designed to teach students from standard one to 12. It has provisions to address queries of students on any of their classroom subjects. This online academic platform of Srijan has also received enthusiastic response.
