The founder of Santhi Bhavan, after a successful career in the United States, returned to India with a profound vision to create a haven of peace and opportunity for children who would otherwise have faced a future of limited prospects. The name “Shanti Bhavan,” which translates to “Haven of Peace” in Hindi, embodies the essence of what this school represents – a sanctuary where education, empowerment and transformation intersect.

This comprehensive care spans a remarkable 17 to 19 years, from the age of 4 to 23, an intense period of intervention that aims to break the cycle of poverty within a single generation.
