Why we need to help senior citizens?
According to the HelpAge India 2019 report, the elderly population in India will increase manifolds in the coming years. The report predicts that nearly half of them will be from the poor socio-economic sections of society. Of these, 71% of them will be from rural India and 50% of them being women and widowed.
