Protect Abandoned Elders

Mission: Protect Abandoned Elders provides shelter, food, medical care, counselling, skills training and rehabilitation for elders that have been thrown out onto the streets by their own families and are left with no support. Senior citizens depend on their children and families for their basic survival. Day-to-day tasks such as walking, eating, using the bathroom or going to the hospital cannot be done on their own. Therefore, when they are suddenly left alone, they struggle to survive. Moreover, the heartbreak of being abandoned by their own children is a mental burden that many elderly people succumb to.

Protect Abandoned Elders rescues and cares for abandoned senior citizens, most of whom are homeless and living on the streets. Once the homeless elders are taken off the streets, they are placed in a safe and comfortable home, fed regular and healthy meals three times a day, given urgent medical attention, supplied with medicines and counselled to help them get through the emotional toll of being mercilessly kicked out of their homes by their own families.
