The sight of an elderly homeless person eating from a garbage dump jolted young Amit to the core. He and his friends started distributing food packets to the homeless elderly, disabled, and destitute. Amit, while distributing food packets, heard endless stories of how the homeless are abused and exploited on the streets. Over the years Amit built a shelter home to bring vulnerable street dwellers to safety. 

In the last couple of years, Amit and his NGO Feel Parmartham Foundation have been able to rescue and rehabilitate scores of homeless people. However, this crucial work is dependent on public donations.
