By the time these girls reach adolescence, a staggering 40% find themselves out of school, relegated to household chores instead of pursuing an education. Mission: Every Girl in School offers hope for these girls, aiming to break the chains of limited opportunities and empower them through education. Every Girl in School focuses on three major objectives that form the pillars of its transformative impact:

Objective 1: access to education for a better future

In the bustling streets of Varanasi, a determined 16-year-old girl named Sanjana Jogi navigates the ebb and flow of life with an unwavering dream. Her father, a hardworking e-rickshaw driver, and her mother, a dedicated housewife, faced the uphill task of providing education for Sanjana and her sister. The financial constraints were overwhelming, threatening to quash the spark of ambition in Sanjana’s eyes.

But, like the proverbial silver lining, hope arrived in the form of generous donors of Every Girl in School who are committed to changing lives. Through their support, Sanjana and her sister received the gift of education – a privilege that became the cornerstone of her journey. The classroom became her sanctuary, a realm where dreams blossomed against the backdrop of textbooks and chalk-dusted air. Gita’s story

In the village of Barpeta, a resilient 8-year-old girl named Gita Bouri embarked on a journey against the odds. Gita’s family, grappling with financial constraints, faced the harsh reality that education was a luxury they could ill afford. With her father toiling as a sweeper and her mother earning daily wages, sending all their children to school seemed an unattainable aspiration.

Gita, however, refused to succumb to the fate that befell her three elder sisters. In a community where early marriages cast shadows over the futures of many young girls, Gita envisioned a different path for herself. She yearned for the warmth of a classroom, the embrace of knowledge and the promise of a future shaped by her own dreams. With the support of compassionate individuals who recognized the potential within her, Gita found herself breaking free from the chains of early marriage. Education became her refuge, a haven where the laughter of learning drowned out the echoes of societal expectations. Gita’s younger brother, initially the sole beacon of education in their family, was soon joined by the determined strides of his elder sister.
