Street Dog Birth Control and Anti Rabies Vaccination Program along with Rescue and Rehabilitation of the injured animals

One full time Veterinarian along with two full time veterinary assistant’s support will help us run non-stop operations and help continue our rescues and animal welfare activities including Animal Birth Control and Anti Rabies Vaccination Program. The support can help many more dogs and set better welfare of animals for Aurangabad.

A part time vet is employed at the project site which has got limitations, due to dependency with the Aurangbad Municipal Corporation we cannot afford to have a full time veterinarian, there are many dogs require additional treatment and care. Our ABC program is getting good shape, since this is just a new project started in August 2019, the community has never understood the concept of animal welfare/ Animal Birth Control. Percentage of people in the community supporting our cause is very less hence we are struggling in getting the necessary support required during catching and releasing. Hence it is very important for us to work and bring change in the human behaviour in the city towards the homeless animals.

A low dog population will lead to healthy animals and healthy community.
