Jiyo aur Jeene do - providing livelihoods

The unemployment caused due to current COVID situation and the resulting need to sustain the affected families towards their basic needs.

• The intervention will be in 2 phases in the form help provide employment and sustain basic necessities of families affected due to the current COVID situation.
• Run a survey to identify underprivileged, unemployed individuals affected.
• Interact individually to identify how we could bring in comfort in their daily routine and classify essential needs.
• Do a due-diligence for genuine checks of the individuals.
• Create a three months plan of action for providing the same.

Execution Plan

• Appoint minimum 5 volunteer heads across localities.
• Create a multi point channel for communication with residents and the trust management.
• Create a Locality wise distribution plan for the recipients spanned over a period of 3 months.
• Prioritise the recipients based on their current conditions.
• Enable the process of payment details, collection or bank account creations.
• Plan the transfer of money to the recipients based on the priority and the trust transaction limits.
• Take an acknowledgement to confirm the receipt of funds.

Tenure Plan

• The survey activity was planned in the month April and is still going on till date.
• Distribution plan will be created post receipt of funds from Give India.
• Distribution will be executed on tenure of 3 months, Targeting 891 Families across different localities.
• A thorough report will be submitted post completion/ as desired by Give India.
• Disbursements will be done on monthly basis.

• This project will serve to connect unemployed as a result of the pandemic to prospective employers in various professions and support members of these unemployed families for a period of 2 months by providing to them funds to be able to cater to needs such as food, rents, services/ utility bills and education of children.
• We strive to contribute in a humble manner to proposed 891 households to enable life go on.
