Lets bring Vision back in the eyes of needy

Access to health services becomes more difficult in tribal areas as the roads are poor or nonexistent. There is a lack of public/private transport and ambulance services and, additionally, the telephone network does not reach many areas reliably. Language/social barriers and the lack of access to money etc.

To start with we focus on the following:

1. Cataract surgeries
2. Diabetic

We have identified 2200 tribal as well as most marginalized elderly who are suffering from cataract for years. We are organizing weekly eye surgery camps with 5 ophthalmologists in Kathikund, Dumka and Nala, Jamtara. We have started surgeries but our funds won't last more, we can serve up to 300 patients. One surgery costs us around 4200 INR around 60 USD.

We will be able to bring lights in the eyes of these thousands of people who have already lost their hope of seeing again. It will give them vision, new energy in their life.
