18-year-old rescued trafficked survivor needs only INR 30,000: URGENT LIVELIHOOD APPEAL!

Rabiya Khatoon (name changed to maintain confidentiality) a migrant sex worker came to us with an emergency appeal for sponsoring the technical job training of her daughter Reshma, a rescued trafficked survivor (Name changed to protect the identity of the survivor). Reshma went missing when she was only 15, was rescued by police from a brothel where she was allegedly molested. She was then sheltered in the Govt. home. (Pictured below her verified Aadhaar Card, Secondary Education Mark Sheet–as an identity proof which is uploaded with her consent.)

Rabiya informed our representative that her daughter has appeared in her Secondary Education Examination (admit card verified with consent) and is eagerly awaiting her result. Reshma is ready to take up the 3 month-technical job training which will help her become financially independent and live a life of dignity. Exclusively curated for such disadvantaged girls, our BEST: Building Entrepreneurs to Stop Trafficking Livelihood Program will take into account the vulnerabilities that Reshma has to face, and provide her with essential life skills and technical job training along with employment/entrepreneurial opportunities.

With the funds raised, Reshma will receive psycho-social support, mentoring, and technical job training from Anudip followed by stable employment. This will help her to overcome the challenges of trauma, stigma, and other psychological effects associated with rape. Anudip as a process would share Reshma’s complete progress with transparency to help the donor know his trajectory! Your small support of INR 30,000 will transform Reshma’s life.
