Story

Rabb Aasra is currently running 1 old age home and 1 is under construction at Zirakpur, SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab. These are the home of more than 100 old men and women.

In the last 16 years, we have rescued nearly 1500 elders and provided them with food, shelter and basic medical facilities. Over the last few years the destitute elder, sick, Roadside, unclaimed, helpless mentally/physically disabled, persons in distress, Ailing, widows and often abandoned by family near us increased day by day and due to that the capacity of our old age home is getting overwhelmed all time and we are unable to take or admit new member in our family and which make us guilt or sorry for not able to help our elder or needy one.

After that, we planned to addition and large place ( 1500 sq yard) for our old age home in Zirakpur with the capacity of more than 400 people live together under one roof and for this kind we need funds as we are suffering in shortage of funds in the construction of the building and other infrastructure includes beds, clothes, first aid medicine etc. for surviving of our elders and needy one. The estimated cost for construction of 1500 sq yard with 3 story building including all basic amenities like kitchen, washroom (separate for male/female) first aid cum doctor room, attend room common dining room etc on every roof and the total expenditure on construction is around 200,00,000 (2cr) and we need funds on urgent basis and we receive lots of query from our elders and roadside as we denied them due to restriction in available space and food or other necessary thing and lack of funds.

The funds received from donations will only be used for the above cause only. We want to collect funds for the construction of the Old Age Home. As construction started we face lots of problems in finance and were delayed due to that. we planned that our elderly home is ready by Nov 2022 so we start functioning.

Through Old age home, we serve every destitute, orphan, needy and abandoned elderly by providing them free shelter, food, clothes, healthcare, love, and respect. With a strong belief that helping old aged people and spreading awareness of elder care would not only give them a new life but also reduce the issue of elder abuse in society. We try to make those old hearts happy who are staying away from their family, staying away from their own home.

We are committed to helping them to live a safe & secure life.
