Lok Abhiyan is a community-based organisation. Working since the year 2004. The area is dominated by the Muslim weaver's population. This community lags behind in socio-economic development. Participation in education is still far behind the national average. Lack of quality primary education centres with affordable fee is the main reason behind the current situation.

We have established a primary education centre in this location. We have focused our intervention to provide quality education to underprivileged children of the area. Now we are an 18-year-old organisation. With our limited resources and available infrastructure, we could cater to 160 children every year. We wish to increase the number of beneficiaries up to 500 children every year. We need the expansion of the premises with two new floors. We are crowdfunded organisation.

Our intervention will stop child labour, gender inequality, increased participation of girl children in mainstream education. The introduction of modern learning-based education would enhance learning levels and interest in studies. This would also provide better future prospects.
