Story

No nation is wealthy without healthy population in spite of economic surplus. In India, as the yugas passes by the current generation is facing many physical and mental health challenges due to deviation from the rich scientific based culture which had become our grandparent’s traditional way of living; it's called Sanathana Dharma, the eternal science of yoga given by great saints. Physical Yoga which includes Asanas, Breathing Techniques, Cleansing/detox techniques, balanced diet and fasting are the methodologies given to maintain physical health. Science based tools like prathyahara, dharana, and dhyana are given to maintain psychological wellbeing. Generations are passing on, there is no clue what was our culture, as we are deviating from it. The disorder of the older generation is becoming the order of the younger generations, with the result, we are considering the materialistic pleasures and excitement as happiness.

Lack of awareness about the nutrition is leading us to make medicine as part of our lives, rather than preventing the problem.

Adapting westernization is resulting in metabolic/inflammatory disorders and psychological problems.

The current society is facing increased rate of crime and lack of ethics. The selfish fulfilment of the human needs is destructing Nature, causing ecological imbalance.

The Yoga Healing Foundation is a unique charitable trust run by volunteers, which is aimed at restoring an understanding of the relationship of the different branches of yoga and to present this knowledge in its original, whole and undiluted form with the most modern scientific approach under the guidance of Dr A L V Kumar, who is internationally recognized, inspirational yoga/meditation teacher/ teacher trainer and an national award-winning scientist. His teaching is informed by his extensive theoretical and experiential knowledge developed through his education in more than 37 Hatha yoga and 50 meditation traditions and progressed through decades of self-practice. Under his guidance we deliver different programs under the banner of ‘Traditional Yoga’.

⮚   Certified teacher training courses under yoga alliance aimed at preparing the teachers in clusters to disseminate our ancient technologies.

⮚   Delivering daily yoga programme through TV channel/social media to reach public in large and also to digitalise and preserve the ancient technologies for the sake of future generations.

⮚   Conducting workshops in public places to create awareness.

⮚   Delivering discourses on health/nutrition to various categories of people like Corporates, Universities, International bodies and Government departments.

⮚   Formulating and developing nutritional products of macro and micronutrients of highest quality at affordable cost to address various ailments.

⮚   Aiming to give free nutrition to the needy and deserved people.

⮚   Giving and preserving ancient body based masso therapy called Yoga Kaya Samvadana and Samvahana for complete healing with therapeutic approach, which is far advanced than pancha karma therapies of Ayurveda.

⮚   Conducting meditation retreats for handling stress to attaining enlightenment.

Happiness index is the measurement of truly developed nation; a healthy and happy citizen can only make a healthy nation. This is achieved by bringing transformation in people’s life in the aspects of Ahara, Vihara, Vichara, Vyavahara and Grahachara irrespective of caste, creed, religion, gender and nationality. This could be achieved by restoring unpatented eternal science of yoga which is given by great saints selflessly, which is a holistic approach to understand modern sciences, exercise physiology, body anatomy, food and nutrition and mind technologies. In Tibet and Bhutan, happiness index is high irrespective of their socio-economic, geographical condition, where the Sanathana Dharma/ eternal science is still their culture.

A human being with good human qualities is always happy and transmits only goodness to others as against a bad human who is always unhappy irrespective of the resources he is having.

A transformation from unlimited badness to limited badness and limited goodness to whole some goodness in a person extends to his/her family and further it brings changes at society level there by a harmonious nation in particular and global in general.

By sowing the values/ethics in current generation we can spread the branches of happiness, this could be very well evidenced from past history of Rama Rajaya and The kingdom of dharma Ashoka.
