Brain surgery - a ticket to normal childhood

One look at 3-year-old twins Shraddha and Shreeya tells us how excited they are about life. Smiling and giggling they can’t wait to touch the ground beneath their feet and take on a cheerful childhood where they could run, play and go to school like any other kid.

But a condition called Arnold Chiari Malformation has led to a growing tumour in both of their brains, making it difficult for them to gain balance. The disease has caged the spirit of these young kids who are yearning to have a normal childhood. Only a surgery costing ₹ 9 Lakh will make it possible. With no money even to afford a scan, the parents borrowed and pawned their little pieces of jewellery and travelled all the way to Mumbai to treat their little daughters. Farmer’s struggle to help their little daughters

“Even if I work on my farm 24x7, I won’t be able to afford it in a short period of time. With pandemics and lack of monsoon, there hasn’t been much harvest in months. The little I make is not even enough to fill our plates. Please help us get our daughters surgery...else they will be disabled for life,” cries father Nagnath.
