Wholesome Care of Destitute Children

Udavum Karangal from the very beginning is extending a helping hand to protect the lives of the destitute children thrown away by their parents on the road side, dustbins etc. These children are infants when they are picked up.

They are brought under the care of Care- Givers in a separate building located in our centre. They have to be given special care in feeding and in treatment of any sickness. When they grow they are given best school education to acquire knowledge and skill to get useful employment. Girls are getting married to enter into the main stream of life.

As the children are destitute Udavum Karangal has to take entire responsibility for the physical, mental and intellectual development of their children.

To achieve this noble cause, Udavum Karangal has developed one of the best infrastructures facilities such as well maintained homes, providing good food, clothing, medical care and education. Founder Secretary takes personal interest in the wholesome development of the every boy and girl. 

Udavum Karangal wishes to take all actions to make every destitute child to develop into a matured citizen, to stand on his/her own legs and to be a part of mainstream of the society.

The children should not develop any inferiority complex in their life. They also should be taught to understand that they should give back to the society by doing voluntary service to uplift the people belongs to the lower strata of the society.
