COVID 19 RELIEF BY SARVAHITEY

Currently, the world is suffering from the outbreak of Corona Virus (COVID-19), and India is also not untouched by it. In fact, the whole country is under lockdown, and the nation has practically come to a still. The people worst hit by it are the underprivileged, the migrants, labourers, rickshaw pullers, house help, and other such persons who rely upon daily wages to earn their daily bread.  

PROVIDING FOOD

We are providing both cooked food, and uncooked ration packets to hundreds of families in Noida (Slums in Hoshiyarpur Village of Sector 51), and Gurgaon (Slums in Wazirabad Village of Sector 52A).

PREVENTING MIGRATION

Most of the families in the Slums in Wazirabad Village of Sector 52A have their home towns in Bihar and Bengal, and like millions of others, they were planning to migrate back to their homes, thus worsening the situation. However, with our intervention there, they have agreed to stay back and we are providing them with all items of their essential need.

SPREADING AWARENESS

We are also spreading awareness about the Corona Virus and conveying the prescribed guidelines of WHO, as well as Dos and Dont's in urban slums.

ASSISTING PEOPLE WO ARE DISTRESSED BY LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT

We have tied up with 'Yes Madam', and assisting their workers who depend on services requests for their daily bread. We have created a fund to help with their daily needs and monthly ration.

ASSISTING LOCAL AUTHORITIES TO HELP EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

We helped the Police of Sector 51, Noida, and gave them food grains and rice, which they will provide to emergency calls of requirement of food, on field.

We believe that our intervention will impact the people in the following ways-

• No person should die of hunger due to the lockdown
• Migration of people should be prevented and their daily needs should be met where they are
• We will assist the people who have lost jobs due to lockdown, to get back on their feet.
