RELIEF WORK FOR COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways. Perhaps the hardest hit is the underprivileged sections of the society - particularly those who are daily wage earners. Suddenly they are without any source of income, and they are not able to provide food or the basic hygiene facilities to their families.

While our core focus is on Waste Management, in these trying times, we are raising funds to provide emergency food packs to daily wage labour families in various slum communities like Bhagat Singh Nagar, Prem Nagar and Jawahar Nagar in Goregaon West, who are impacted because of COVID-19.

In Phase 1 we identified about 1000 families. Their situation was precarious. Most of them do not have ration cards and hence are most vulnerable and affected. We provided them a basic food packet with rice, wheat, oil, masalas etc.

We are happy to announce that we have delivered this number thanks to support from friends, family and friends of friends!

We are now aiming to support 10,000 families this month and we need your help.
