Story

Type 1 Diabetes also known as Juvenile Diabetes, is an auto-immune disorder, where the body’s immune system destroys the insulin producing cells in the Pancreas. Which Leads to increased sugar levels and which in total leads to dis functioning of other organs like Eyes, Nervous System, etc.

The Foundation’s project “Madhuraasha” focuses on children with Type 1 Diabetes or Juvenile Diabetes between 0 – 18 years of age from the economically weaker section of society. At present there are 140 children under its care. We Provide Insulin, glucose monitoring strips, counselling, pathology tests and other medical assistance whenever needed.

Till date we were able to help, support and change lives of 140+ children and their families.
