COVID Empowerment Program for Women

As everybody is aware that COVID19 D pandemic has impacted the marginalised community specially women from the rural as well as slum are in urban part of the country. If these women are not supported for their livelihood activities the risk not only engulf them but their families and children as well. Further, this might affect adversely for longer period of time. Therefore, the it is very crucial to connect livelihood programme which can help even to address the current issue of CIOVID 19 D crisis in a lager scheme.

We have many women who have been trained in higher end stitching skills to make women's attire and home furnishing. Looking at the present crisis we have started motivating women and trained them to make masks and PPE for the health workers as per demand. We could mobilize more than 40 persons from rural and urban area who could make more than. 18000 masks and 120 PPE as per demand. Additionally, every person could earn more than 3500 from this initiative. This masks were distributed in slum areas, hospitals and factories

Looking at the long term crisis, we feel that there will be more demand of masks and PPE in coming future. We would like to continue supporting this activities which not only help to fight COVID19 pandemic but also helps to create livelihood opportunity for many more in the community.

We would want to create livelihood opportunities with dignity where women feel proud of being contributors to fight the current crisis. This is very important because creating Win-WIn situation gives a worth of oneself. Hence the results, would : "we also contribute in the fight in our way which also help for our survival"
