600 families in crisis: URGENT APPEAL

In the year 2021 we reached out to 5000+ families of migrants and low-income groups – supporting them to rebuild lost livelihoods. With the COVID crisis still dominating the world, we identified 600 more vulnerable women and youth across underserved locations of India who are among the worst affected population due to their poor economic backgrounds and social vulnerabilities.

We got in touch with 600 families from remote parts of Bengal, Assam, Odisha and Jharkhand who are informal workers and small-scale vendors now struggling with no income and high food insecurity with their livelihoods/businesses being affected by pandemic aftermath. Our TASK-FORCE have vetted and verified the family details (with documents and ID proofs).

For an urgent yet sustainable impact, ANUDIP will:

1. Equip one member from each of migrant/no-income families, all between 18 – 35 years of age, with a technical job training aligned with his/her merit followed by stable employment
2. Digitize small- businesses and vendors on an e-commerce platform to reach out to a larger audience, ensuring scalability and growth in income

This EMERGENCY APPEAL would be used for REBUILDING LIVLIHOODS OF INCOMELESS FAMILIES and DIGITIZE SMALL-SCALE BUSINESSES, which would bring back an income-flow in zero-income families. NOTE: THIS FUNDRAISER IS ELIGIBLE FOR TAX BENIFITS.
