In order to be sustainable, we need to build a strong organisation. Given the erratic nature of funding, developing a general fund is one way that NGOs can do this. When you donate to the general fund, it helps us design long-term programmes without worrying about programme support from aid agencies and to meet organisational costs that no one else is willing to bear.
The funds raised will be used to build stronger organisation team and support the people in need.
The general fund is used to support both the programme activities of the organisation as well as the associated administrative costs.
