Provide relief to victims of violence in Manipur

REACH India Collective comes to you with a heavy heart as we witness the devastating aftermath of the recent violence in Manipur. Countless lives have been upended, families have been displaced, and communities are in urgent need of assistance. In this time of crisis, we are launching a fundraising campaign to provide relief and rehabilitation to the affected areas in Manipur.

Our mission is simple: to rebuild lives and restore hope. Through this campaign, we aim to raise funds for immediate relief, such as emergency supplies, food, clean water, and medical aid, to those who have been directly impacted by the violence. 

Two of our member organizations based in Manipur - Inside North East and Library For All (Korou Education Foundation) are on the forefront of relief work and are helping over 5500 individuals with supplies and essentials.

1. Beneficiaries of the Programme:

The beneficiaries of our programme are the individuals and families directly impacted by the recent turmoil in Manipur. These include those who have been displaced, lost their homes, and are facing immense challenges in rebuilding their lives.

2. What the Beneficiaries Will Get:

Through your donations, we aim to provide essential relief materials to the beneficiaries. These materials include:

a) Food supplies: Nutritious meals and essential food items to alleviate hunger and provide sustenance.

b) Clean water and sanitation: Provision of clean drinking water, hygiene kits, and sanitation supplies to ensure the well-being and prevent the spread of diseases.

c) Shelter and basic necessities: Temporary shelters, blankets, clothing, and essential items to create a safe and secure environment for those who have lost their homes.

4. Activities to be Undertaken:

To achieve our objectives, we will undertake the following activities:

1. Procuring and distributing relief materials, including food supplies, clean water, sanitation kits, shelter provisions, and medical aid.
2. Collaborating with local organizations, government bodies, and community leaders to ensure effective coordination and reach the most vulnerable populations.

5. Challenges and Next Steps:

We acknowledge that there will be challenges in implementing this initiative. The scale of the impact and the diverse needs of the affected communities require substantial resources and collaborative efforts. However, we remain steadfast in our commitment to making a difference.
