By Human Capital for Third Sector (Katalyst India)
Story

Every young woman deserves the chance to pursue her dreams, regardless of her background. At Katalyst India, we're on a mission to empower young women in STEM education and transform lives. But we can't do it alone.

Meet Monali Phadatare, a Katalyst graduate who became an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Officer, Government of India. The first woman engineer from her village and the daughter of a farmer.  She proudly states, “I owe all that I am today to Katalyst”. Short film that introduces the transformation journey of Monali

As part of our ongoing mission, we are launching a fundraising campaign to support four aspects of our program: Medical Insurance & Financial Payouts for young women, and Post-Graduation support to Priyanka, Katalyst alumni and Technology Digital transformation of the organisation.

We have identified four critical areas where your support can create lasting change:

Medical insurance: Insurance is provided for the Katalyst student and her mother to prevent young women from dropping out of college to care for their sick mothers.

Financial Payout: Students are paid financial payout based on their training attendance, mentor interactions, academic performance, leadership and volunteering initiatives. This stipend is used for expenses related to education such as dormitories, books, materials, project work and more.

Post-Graduation support to Priyanka P: Priyanka, a dreamer and achiever, is currently pursuing her MS in Business Analytics & Information System at the University of South Florida. Hailing from a single-parent household with a younger brother in 9th grade, she bears the responsibility of providing for her family in her village. Your support is crucial to help Priyanka continue her education in South Florida and assist her family during these challenging two years.

Technology - Digital Transformation: The pandemic has significantly changed the landscape, revealing the potential of a virtual world and the possibility of transcending geographical and center-based limitations. We aim to extend our reach to a wider audience across various cities and diverse student categories. Furthermore, our program curriculum has been primarily tailored for engineering college students. However, in the coming years, we aspire to expand our program to encompass students from other fields. To achieve these goals, we recognize the importance of streamlining and standardization our processes through technology

Financial Payout -Rs. 25L

Medical Insurance - Rs.2L

Post Graduation - Rs. 3L

Technology - Rs. 20L

Together, we can create lasting change and empower individuals to reach their full potential. Pledge your support, donate now!
