#PassItAhead 2023 - Empower 200 children through Ultimate Frisbee in Delhi NCR

This Daan Utsav 2023, Join Y-Ultimate on our mission to impart life skills education (LSE) to children through the sport of Ultimate Frisbee!

Y-Ultimate is a not-for-profit organization that aims to empower children and young people from marginalized backgrounds to achieve better life outcomes through the sport of Ultimate Frisbee. We are currently working with over 400 vulnerable children and youth in communities, schools, public parks, and shelter homes. 

The youth coaches in this program are all those who were our beneficiaries and have now become part of our staff team creating a ripple effect in their communities. This in turn serves as a means to sustain their aspirations.

Why support this cause?

According to the India Skills Report 2015, 12 million individuals are expected to join the workforce every year. However, functional literacy does not translate into being work-ready, with nearly 75% of these youth considered unemployable or not job-ready. Creating safe spaces to nurture these critical life skills is a necessity to build the next generation to contribute meaningfully to the society we live in.

Why is it impactful to donate now? 

As part of Give India's 100 Heroes campaign, donations are eligible for a match funding for the amount raised which increases the Impact of your contribution. 100 Heroes is an event that promises matching rewards for efforts made by NGOs to expand their donor base, 100 Heroes aims at incentivizing the top 100 NGOs that raise the maximum funds between October 2nd and November 30th, 2023 on give.do.

How much would make a difference?

What is Daan Utsav? 

Celebrated every year from October 2 to 8, #DaanUtsav is India’s biggest festival of giving during which people come together and perform acts of kindness by giving their time, material or money in interesting ways to any cause(s) of their choice.
