India has 35 million children at risk. Most grow up with nobody by their side. At Make A Difference, we show up, week after week, year after year, to change that. Our volunteers—MADsters—form the backbone of our movement. They’re present in 20 cities, working with children in shelter homes, under-resourced schools and communities, bringing care, guidance, and dreams within reach.

This DaanUtsav, the difference you make is direct and personal. Every donation you give is matched through Give.do. That means ₹1 becomes ₹2—and that goes straight to a child’s education, mentorship, and transition care, helping them break the cycle of poverty.

MAD’s work is built on trust and community, grown step by step for nearly two decades. Since 2006, over 4,000 Community Leaders have guided 45,000 mentors, delivering 2 million hours to children across India.

Volunteers support children in reading, exams, building life skills, planning careers, and answering the “what’s next?” questions as they grow up.

Independent evaluation puts MAD in the global top 20% for impact and child outcomes. We are in a growth phase, aiming to reach 3 million children by 2030 and provide every child at risk a real support system.
