Help Teenage Girls Stay Safe From Violence

This Daan Utsav, support MukkaMaar to protect girls from violence.

This year, for DaanUtsav, we are raising funds to continue supporting over 8,500 girls across Mumbai and Delhi who are part of our flagship program in government schools.

Gender-based violence remains an everyday reality for women and girls in India. While some cases make the headlines, countless others go unreported. From peer harassment to household-level restrictions, young girls often face violence and silencing on a daily basis.

Over the last 7 years, MukkaMaar has witnessed thousands of such transformations. What begins as timid steps in a school courtyard often grows into lifelong agency, courage, and a refusal to submit to societal norms designed to keep women at a disadvantage.

This year, we are also launching a transparency video Series, giving our supporters a direct window into our work and our process.
