Meet Aanya (Name changed) β A Dream That Found Its Wings at a Rainbow Home!π
After losing her father at a young age, Aanya grew up with her mother and six siblings, facing the everyday struggles of life. Access to education and opportunities seemed like distant dreams.
Her life took a hopeful turn when she became part of a Rainbow Home. Here, she found more than a safe place to stay. She found care, encouragement, opportunities to learn and people who believed in her potential. With sustained support, Aanya discovered her love for Mathematics, excelled in her studies and eventually secured admission to APU to pursue a B.A. (Honours) in Economics!
From uncertainty to university, her journey reflects what the right opportunities, nurturing care and belief in a child can make possible.
But Many More Children Are Still Waiting for Their Chance to Shine.
Across communities, children experiencing homelessness and vulnerability continue to face barriers to safety, education, nutrition and a secure childhood.
