In India, As per the MHRD report (https://mhrd.gov.in/sites/upload_files/mhrd/files/statistics-new/AISHE%20Final%20Report%202018-19.pdf ), students enrolling to higher education is only 26.3 %, roughly this means only 1 out 4 youths are pursuing their higher education.

In Tamilnadu, we have seen from the ground level more than 1 Lac students discontinue their higher education. some students even after scoring meritorious marks they could not complete their higher educational dreams. The reason is POVERTY.

Education alone can bring permanent transformation in one's life, family, and society, Higher education will give employment opportunities and because of that their family will be able to come out of the poverty cycle.

Anandham foundation is working on the ground level to identify those meritorious students through our stringent student's selection process and we provide 100% scholarship which includes the total expenses of their hostel, mess fees, and transportation fees if any.
