A Heart Saved, A Childhood Restored

Every week, children with life-threatening heart conditions arrive at Shree Balaji Foundation in the arms of terrified parents. One of them was little Anaya, a 3-year-old girl who couldn’t walk without gasping for breath. Her father, a daily-wage worker, had sold everything he owned, yet the life-saving surgery she needed was still far beyond reach.

When her mother whispered, “We have nothing left… except hope,” we knew we had to step in.

We admitted Anaya into our free treatment program, and after a long, critical surgery, her tiny heart finally began to beat strong. Weeks later, she walked toward her mother with a smile—something she had never been able to do before. A childhood was restored… because someone cared.

But Anaya is just one child. Dozens more are waiting—children fighting severe heart defects, malnutrition, infections, and other critical conditions. Their families come to us with empty hands but hearts full of hope.
