Happiness and anxiousness by the soon to be grandparents ready to see their grandchild. Once the nurse calls and lets the father take his newborn in his arms, the feeling of anxiousness is taken over by joy and happiness. But soon is gone as the child is a girl and not a boy. A burden has been brought to the family. Says some. That was long ago, but it is the sad truth that even in the 20th century that girls are considered as a burden. Hence, the only way of getting rid of this burden is to marry her off. Due to this age old thinking many girls are forced to cut their dreams short and are being married off.
