Aarti Kumari, Suman Yadav, and Lakshmi Rani have faced unimaginable challenges—not just poverty and hardship but also the stigma of being HIV+. Life pushed them into a corner, limiting their opportunities and forcing them to fight for survival every day. Then, Purnkuti became their ray of hope. Through our mobilization efforts, they visited our center—hesitant yet hopeful. With counseling and support, they found the strength to believe in a future beyond their struggles.
Determined to rebuild their lives, they enrolled in PROJECT DHARA, our vocational training program. As they learned the art of stitching, their confidence grew, and they began to see a path forward—one where they could earn with dignity and independence. But one challenge remained—they lacked the tools to fully transition into their new livelihood. That’s where we step in together. Along with skills, Purnkuti also provided business development training—helping them understand pricing, customer management, and how to run their own business.
Now, with your support, we are ready to provide them with Sewing Machines as Business Startup Kits. These machines will increase their income by 20-25% and help them build a stable, self-sufficient future.
Rs. 15,000/- per Machine |  i.e. Rs. 15,000*3 = Rs. 45,000/-
