Indian ranks as the 6th most affected nation in the Climate Risk Index 2025. Every year, hundreds of young Indians dream of solving climate challenges — from clean energy and waste management to water conservation and green mobility.

India has over 800 climate‑tech startups, and India's climate‑tech sectors collectively represent a USD 1 trillion opportunity over the next decade. However, Only 25% of climate tech start-ups have been able to raise USD 3.6 billion over the past decade (2014–2024).

Young entrepreneurs face multiple barriers:

🚫 Limited access to early-stage capital,

🚫 No mentorship from climate/tech experts,

🚫 Weak linkages to markets, corporates, and government,

🚫 Low exposure to climate innovation ecosystems, and many more

ReNew Foundation's initiative to accelerate climate entrepreneurship

Your contribution will help scale a Climate Entrepreneurship Accelerator — a platform that identifies, nurtures, and supports young innovators who are striving to solve climate challenges at scale.

What we will do?

ReNew Foundation will identify 25 youth-led climate startups and ideas from across India and help them with the following:

✅Provide mentorship from climate experts

✅Offer grant funds to 10% ideas

✅Conduct bootcamps, masterclasses, and business model clinics

✅ Create market linkages with corporates

• Early-stage founders without access to networks

The top 3 funders will be invited to the showcase event held in Gurugram in January 2027 and be a part of the evaluation process.

Our impact till date

We have conducted two such programs till date impacting over 40+ startups till date, and mobilizing funds over Rs. 50Lakhs for them.
