Bringing Cheer to Children in the ACADEMIC SESSION 2026-27

Welcome the new session _ by supporting Quality Education, Digital Skills & Holistic Learning for those in need.

Assessments by Government Departments and the Annual Status of Education Reports by Pratham regularly highlight the large deficits in basic reading and arithmetic capabilities, with government school and rural children faring worse than national averages. 

With over 200 million school-age children, approximately half of them attending government schools, it is imperative that these students get all the support to enable them to be more engaged in the learning journey to improve their future prospects.

CHALLENGES:

·     Lack of basic infrastructure, computers and necessary audio-visual teaching aids

·     Low understanding of curriculum subjects

·     Poor academic performance in examinations

·     High failure and dropout rates

·     Unwillingness and inability of students to pursue higher studies

·     Non-existent practical computer, digital and IT skills

·     No focus on soft and life skills, employability skills and personality development

·     No guidance, counselling, or career advice available to students at home or school

·     Children missing out on opportunities for Awareness, Exposure & Peer-learning

Overall, it is a distressing scenario that leads to frustration and despondency among students and young adults who do not see a very bright future ahead for themselves.

IN-DEED Foundation (www.indeedfoundation.org) believes that Quality Education is the highway to Viksit Bharat 2047.

Fundraiser Objectives:

SCALING UP:

Starting Academic session 2026-27 _ IN-DEED Foundation is scaling up interventions from 4 to 10 districts of Rajasthan and expanding coverage to other states - starting with Delhi NCR & Gujarat.

FELLOWSHIP:

IN-DEED is starting a unique Fellowship program from 2026 _ to engage bright, passionate, young Indians graduating from some of the best institutions of the nation. They shall help the organisation streamline processes, develop future strategy, grow organically and enhance its impact for stakeholders.

REMEDIAL CLASSES:

One of the initiatives that we wish to focus on is Remedial Classes - where students who are scoring low marks in third division or failing board exams will be supported with extra classes to ensure they understand difficult topics from Maths, Science & English to improve their grades.

FOUNDATIONAL LITERACY & NUMERACY:

Another focus area is going to be helping students achieve literacy and numeracy skills as appropriate for their age and grade (I-VIII), assisting them to become proficient in reading and writing (English & Hindi) and performing basic mathematic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) necessary to facilitate understanding of curricular topics in higher grades.
