ALM Emergency COVID-19 relief for Adivasis - Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG)

Campaign by GiveIndia

Story

Johar!

As you may know, India is going through an unprecedented health crisis in the form of the COVID-19 second wave. Lakhs of people are getting infected every day putting huge pressure on our healthcare systems. As a result, the government in many places has announced lockdowns. Our only weapon to fight the virus is mass vaccinations.

Adivasi Lives Matter (ALM), a platform that has been amplifying Adivasi and Tribal voices since 2016 (adivasilivesmatter.com), needs your help with carrying forward our ongoing campaign to send relief material to Adivasi and Tribal groups of Tripura, Tamil Nadu, and Chhattisgarh who are worst-affected by the health crisis as well as the lockdown.

We aim to distribute post-vaccination medicine and masks among 15,000 people and ration kits among 6,000 families. In addition, we have launched an awareness program to dispel myths surrounding the COVID-19 vaccine so that the maximum number of people get vaccinated.

We urge you to donate to our campaign so that together we can win the war against COVID-19.

Johar.
