Story
Founded in 2004, Asha for Education’s Mumbai Chapter is committed to providing quality education to marginalized children. Situated opposite I.I.T. Bombay in Powai, Asha focuses on bridging educational gaps for students who struggle with traditional school curriculums. The organization aims to make learning an enjoyable and engaging experience through hands-on learning and practical approaches.
Currently, Asha serves 570 students across three branches. The main center in Mumbai educates 275 students, comprising 189 boys and 86 girls. The Bajah Centre in Uttar Pradesh supports 183 students, with 75 boys and 78 girls. The Gomadih Centre, also in Uttar Pradesh, has 132 students, evenly split with 66 boys and 66 girls.
