Battle of Buffet 2020

A lot NGOs struggle to raise funds, smaller NGOs struggle even more. They don’t have the right connect, people, resources to conduct events, meet companies, and talk about their work. Even if they do event, the cost is huge to leverage. This pandemic has made situation even worse for them. With almost all the individual and corporate donations drying up, grass root ngos are pushed to almost extinction situation. It is important to help these ngos to continue their work so that the most needy and deprived communities are attended too.

Battle of the Buffet offers NGOs in Tamil Nadu a common platform to make use of high class event to raise fund without spending a penny. The event facilitates collective positive change for the greater good - an evening that provides food for the mind, body, soul and spirit. BoB 2020 is fresh with new possibilities. We are moving to a virtual platform to host the event to ensure safety and protection of donors during the COVID crisis. This year more than 50 NGOs are participating representing various causes across Tamil Nadu.

Since its inception in 2009 this mega fundraising event has raised close to Rs. 30 crores, benefiting hundreds of NGOs. A wide array of causes namely education, health, differently abled, women, children, livelihoods, environment, etc. has been supported. For all the NGO paticipants, BoB is annual fundasier that aids them to continue their deep impact projects.
