Be the Reason Someone Smiles Today

In many underserved communities, girls and women face a silent struggle every month—one that impacts their health, dignity, education, and daily lives. Without access to basic menstrual hygiene products, they are forced to use unsafe alternatives, miss school, or isolate themselves in shame.

At Blissful People Foundation, we believe that no one should feel embarrassed or suffer simply because of their period.

That’s why, this month, we launched our Menstrual Hygiene Awareness and Pad Distribution Campaign, reaching out to young girls and women in rural areas with one powerful message: “You are not alone.”

Thanks to the support of kind-hearted donors and volunteers, Blissful People distributed over 2,000 sanitary pads across several communities—along with education on menstrual hygiene, breaking taboos, and helping girls reclaim confidence in their bodies.

We watched shy smiles turn into laughter. Girls who once sat silently in the back of classrooms during their periods now raised their hands, hopeful and empowered. One young girl told us, “For the first time, I feel seen. I don’t have to hide anymore.”

But this is just the beginning.
