Beyond Vista’s Virtual Fund Raising Event for Antyodoy Orphanage

An orphanage named "Antyodoy Anath Ashram", located in Paunsi, Midnapore district of West Bengal, India dwells 140 children and is led by a visionary man Mr. Balaram Karan. The orphanage makes sure that the children are leading lives in a very sustainable way. Antyodoy Ashram has been receiving funds from public organizations until last year. Unfortunately, by the advent of the pandemic, those organizations took a big hit and hence the flow of funds has reduced by a large margin. This has created a big negative impact and currently the orphanage is facing a shortage of basic or sustainable funds. Added to that, the orphanage faces some challenges, for example, organising an English medium of instruction with good teachers . Beyond Vista wishes to help regarding the same.

Beyond Vista wishes to play a role in supporting Antyodoy Anath Ashram with funds collected as charitable contribution from friends and well-wishers in the network of Stichting Beyond Vista, Netherlands. The funds will be collected after organizing a fund raiser promotion event which will educate the participants on the background of the orphanage and our objective and the impact that it would cause. The event will invite people from all over the world (primarily from India and the Netherlands), the goal of which is to reach out to create awareness to as many people as possible.. The funds will be disbursed in cash or kind (or partially both) as agreed with authorities of Antyodoy Anath Ashram in the year 2021 to meet the basic necessities of the orphanage, e.g. education, food, infrastructure upgrade of the environment. Contributors will have full right to information and funds donated from Beyond Vista.

We aim to introduce the cause to as many people as possible in our virtual network. This should instigate a motivation to donate funds, in cash or in kind, hopefully with a sustainable initiative. We expect people to contribute by volunteering, making a fixed contribution per year based on a specific cause, for example: choosing to bear the educational expenses for one child, etc. With a sustainable stream of funds, Antyodoy Ashram should be able to sustain itself and organise better facilities for their students.
