Blindness eradication

Cataract is the leading cause of blindness in India. Around 8.25 million people in 2020 were blind due to cataracts.

Lack of awareness about Cataract among people in India will lead to several problems like

• Road accidents
• Loss of work opportunities for the individual will leads to poverty.
• People feels reserved.

We are planned to conduct many eye camps in rural areas, orphanages, and public places to eradicate / control blindness and to spread awareness about uncorrected refractive error blindness in India.

Cataract surgery is the only treatment for Cataract blindness in India.

Re-vision centre trust tied up with Dr Agarwal's eye research centre planned to organize an eye camp in rural areas, and old age orphanages among people in India. This will help them to see well, concentrate on their work and be more productive.

Your contributions will help the people in rural areas, and old age orphanages around people in India. 

The study says that around 1 in 2 people will have an uncorrected refractive error by the year 2050. Proper screening in timely intervention can prevent the uncorrected refractive error in India.

After Cataract surgery, people will participate in their daily activities and even concentrate more on their work making an important contribution to Increasing the Indian economy.
