Breaking the Silence Around Menstrual Health

In rural and semi urban Tamil Nadu, thousands of adolescent girls miss school every month due to the stigma, lack of awareness, and unaffordable sanitary products. This not only harms their education but also puts their health at risk.

IUCT is on a mission to change this. We’re conducting reproductive health education sessions in 100 government schools across Thiruvallur and Chennai districts, reaching over 25,000 girls and women. We also distribute reusable cloth pads — economical, environment-friendly, and safe for reproductive health.
