Story

Build India Through Sports(BITS) is the flagship project of Sports Coaching Foundation(SCF).SCF promotes the essence and spirit of developing sporting culture at a very young age to children who are underprivileged, Below Poverty Line (BPL) and have little or no access to sports facilities.. Active Involvement in sports can no longer be considered a pastime or just as recreation. As you might be aware, “UNITED NATIONS (UN)”itself passed a resolution that sports should be introduced by every country of the world and pursued at every level of the society for Social Change. Also, you might appreciate the fact that ‘Sports is the Cheapest Medicine for Good Health’. Considering these aspects, it is unfortunate that India is presently the Diabetic Capital of the World. Hence, Sports Culture is a strong necessity in India.Hence SCF works towards promoting a better society through BITS Project.

Under BITS project, SCF actively upgrades/develops Basic Sports Infrastructure at their campus in the following Sports & Games like Cricket/Volleyball/ Football/ Basketball/ Track & Field games . With partnership with Organizations or corporate, SCF prepares Playground (Leveling, Marking) & provide Sporting Infrastructure like Track & Field Facility, Cricket, Volleyball Poles, Basketball Poles, and Sports Equipment for Sports Continuity round the year without disturbing their regular education schedule. All of this will be done in coordination with the school management. SCF also conducts Sports Clinics to attract children and inspire them through success stories of sports celebrities using effective audio visuals. We also use modern equipment like Electronic Bowling Machine, Digital Speed Gun, etc

The impact of BITS project can be measured at an empirical level by the number of underprivileged, Below Poverty Line (BPL) children it has reached. SCF promoted sports and at Low-income institutions (Govt. Schools, Municipal Schools, Orphanage Homes, etc. since 1991). and has connected over 50,000 underprivileged (BPL) children and youth in over 150 low-income institutions all over India . When measured by the impact it has over the society, it helps the children to develop a spirit of togetherness, channeling their energy in the right direction, thereby inculcating discipline, responsibility and other positive behavioral traits in their lives, which in turn makes them better citizens of the country. BITS project also instills cleanliness and thereby promotes Swachch Bharat campaign of the Government of India.
