Build two homes for orphaned and abandoned children

Campaign by Udayan Care

Tax Benefits Available
Story

The number of homeless children in India has reached 18 million; most of whom are subjected to abuse and exploitation. To add to that, the majority are severely malnourished making them vulnerable to disease and long-term illness. They neither receive education nor proper care and are given no resources to relieve them of their bitter situations.

Our 12 Udayan Ghars are home to 172 children at present. We are nurturing our children in a family environment created by our team, volunteers and mentor mothers.

Along with comfortable rooms, our homes have a computer lab, a tailoring and stitching centre, and an arts and crafts room. This ensures that children can discover their potential and develop holistically.

Our twelve homes currently accommodate 172 children. With your help we can build two homes in Dehradun and Sohna to accommodate many more abandoned or orphaned children. Rs. 10,000 ($200)can give a street child the chance to live a new and improved life.
