Story

In spite of planned development and special provision for accelerated socio-economic development of neglected, disadvantaged sections, the issue of an orphan, semi orphans and street children are not properly addressed. Many Orphan, Semi Orphan and Street Children are found. The problem of orphans, semi-orphans, and street children is acute due to urbanization and industrialization. Re-marriage of Deserted, Widowed, and Divorce women, Absence of love and security in the families, Family disputes, orphan and street children are left without care and support. These children are involved in rag picking; pick pocketing and participating in anti-social, criminal activities. 

The proposal is for supporting 30 orphans and poor children in rural areas in Bongaigaon, Assam, India for the provision of food, shelter, clothing and education in the Home based environment to bring them up to become self-reliant and sustainable. The children in the target areas do not have an opportunity to pursue their education because of their poverty. Several children living in slum areas are in a State of degradation and misery.

The Project addresses  30 poor and orphan children in the Home of Bongaigaon, Assam, India. They are provided with Food, Shelter, Education and Clothing. The children are attending the local school regularly and are provided with Text Books, Note Books, School Bags, Pens and Pencils School fee is paid for their admission and study in the school, Reading Table, Solar lamp. The children are being brought up under discipline. The children are being taught and given guidance for their physical, mental and spiritual growth. The institutional care homes will be an operational model to make them have potential long-term dignity. At JMECT these balanced quality facilities would definitely help children to be happy and contended as long as they live in this World. 

30 Orphans and poor Children have access to food, shelter education and live in better environments. The children will attend school regularly and get a better education and acquire knowledge. Children are promoted into new classes. They will get an opportunity to live on their own with dignity. They are keeping in good health and education, and have access to School uniforms and needs so that they are having equal opportunities with other children. These Children have good facilities for their better living.
